Improved meals and care
Improved meals and careThe detainees' main and supplemental meals are given in specific quantity as stipulated by regulations. If processing facilities result in profit, a percentage of it is allocated to supplement meal budget and to form a meal improvement team that meets regularly every month. Additional dishes are provided during year-end and holidays. The meal design takes into consideration both sanitation and nutrition to maintain the health of the detainees.

Provide health, medical, and preventive care To ensure detainees remain healthy, the sanitation of the environment and medical care work are important. The center condusts regularly scheduled disinfections. Additionally, Chest x-rays, health check-ups, and other preventive measures are administered to the detainees every season. For illnesses, the center has internal and surgical departments, optometry, ear, nose, and throat, dentistry, and Chinese medicine departments staffed with medical doctors. New medical equipment is constantly being added to ensure the physical and mental well being of the detainees.

Promote cultural and leisure activities Detainees may be irritable during the litigation or imprisonment period. Proper cultural and leisure activities can stabilize their moods.We have televisions, karaoke machines, entertainment programs, and scheduled concerts to entertain the inmates and uplift their spirits.

Boost enlightenment guidance
Boost enlightenment guidance The center’s enlightenment guidance combines teaching and admonishment with education to aggressively inspire detainees’ conscience and inner abilities, cultivate a law-abiding spirit, change their attitude, and rebuild their normal characters. The program is conducted with: 1.Individual guidance – Center’s management personnel engage in conversation with at least three to five persons and document the conversations to assist counseling review. 2. Group guidance – gather all the detainees together or in groups to teach and cultivate proper moral values to improve their character and conduct. 3. Category guidance- counseling based on type and nature of crime committed to cultivate law-abiding habits so they can become positive citizens. 4. Religious guidance – Christian, Catholic, Buddhist, and other religious groups are invited to the Center at least once a week for religious counseling that cleanses the soul and thereby the mind.

Life management measure The center uses an artistic and humanized management method based on the principles of "lenient care and strict discipline" and " management is service and service is management" . Affection, patience, and care are used to achieve the administrative management's goal of assisting detainees in developing self-respect, self-love and law abiding sentiments.
