Provide health, medical, and preventive care

To ensure detainees remain healthy, the sanitation of the environment and medical care work are important. The center condusts regularly scheduled disinfections. Additionally, Chest x-rays, health check-ups, and other preventive measures are administered to the detainees every season. For illnesses, the center has internal and surgical departments, optometry, ear, nose, and throat, dentistry, and Chinese medicine departments staffed with medical doctors. New medical equipment is constantly being added to ensure the physical and mental well being of the detainees.
